Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman countered the opposition’s “Trojan Horse” claims by asserting that Articles 35A and 370 impeded Jammu & Kashmir’s full integration into India. She emphasized that the Centre’s Rs 12,000 crore allocation for J&K Police aimed to foster development and stability in the region. Sitharaman reiterated BJP’s commitment to ‘one nation, one symbol, one rule.’
