Bengaluru Police have identified the prime suspect in the murder of Mahalakshmi, a 29-year-old woman whose dismembered body was discovered in her rented residence. The suspect is believed to be from West Bengal. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend him as investigations continue amidst rising political tensions over law and order in Karnataka.
