Melinda French Gates, at the age of 59, has dedicated over 20 years to establishing and growing the Gates Foundation, which is set to undergo a name change following her departure in June. The foundation has become one of the most prominent and impactful philanthropic organizations worldwide. “In 2024 alone, the foundation’s budget is $8.6 billion, dispersing money to its 42 program strategies, including global health and gender issues, which is French Gates’ flagship cause.”
