The BJP criticised the INDIA bloc following RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav’s comment calling Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma the ‘Chinese version of Yogi.’ BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla condemned the statement as racist. Yadav’s remarks came after the Assam Assembly decided to end a two-hour adjournment for Jumma prayers on Fridays.
