BJP leader Dilip Ghosh accused the TMC government of attempting to bribe the parents of a rape-murder victim to keep them silent. BJP leaders protested, demanding justice and criticizing the administration for preventing peaceful demonstrations. The BJP also called for Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s resignation, alleging mishandling and cover-up in the case.
