In Rangpuri Pahari, southwest Delhi, Heeralal Sharma killed his four daughters before dying by suicide. Neighbors alerted authorities due to a foul smell from their flat. Police found three packets of Celphos poison inside. Heeralal had been absent from work since January 2024 and struggled with family issues following his wife’s death last year.
