The Land and Development Office halted the eviction and demolition at the Khyber Pass area in Delhi, home to Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker’s coach, Samaresh Jung, and 200 others. Jung discovered the notice upon returning from the Paris Olympics. The land, owned by the ministry of defence, was deemed an illegal settlement, prompting Jung to request additional time to relocate.
