Botswana has unveiled a record-breaking 2,492-carat diamond from the Karowe Mine, now the largest gem ever found in the country and the second-largest globally. Canadian company Lucara Diamond Corp announced the discovery on Wednesday, using advanced X-ray technology to find the high-quality diamond, highlighting Botswana’s major role in recent diamond discoveries.
