Actress Payel Mukherjee claimed she was attacked by a man on a bike in Kolkata after her car touched his two-wheeler. The man shattered her car window when she refused to get out. Police quickly intervened, arresting the attacker. BJP criticized West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, alleging deteriorating safety for women in the state. Reacting to the incident, DCP South Kolkata said the accused person has been arrested from the spot.
