Savitri Jindal, mother of BJP MP Naveen Jindal, has decided to contest the election from Hisar but not as a BJP candidate. She was initially vying for a BJP ticket but did not receive it and is now contemplating running either independently or with another party. Her decision follows strong encouragement from her supporters. Savitri mentioned this would be her last election and aims to complete unfinished work in Hisar. Additionally, BJP’s district secretary Tarun Jain resigned in protest against Dr Kamal Gupta’s candidacy for the same constituency.
