GST authorities issued a Rs 32,403 crore notice to Infosys for allegedly not paying IGST on services received from overseas branches between 2017 and 2022. Infosys, however, contended that GST is not applicable on these expenses, citing a recent circular. The company has responded to the pre-show cause notice and remains compliant with regulations.
