Nine people were arrested by Kolkata police after mob violence erupted at RG Kar Hospital during protests over the brutal rape and murder of a trainee doctor. Unidentified miscreants caused damage to hospital property. West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose visited the hospital to assess the situation and meet with protesting junior doctors.
