A fire broke out early Saturday at Tata Electronics Private Limited’s mobile phone accessories painting unit in Krishnagiri district. Employees were safely evacuated and seven fire tenders were dispatched to contain the blaze. Three workers experienced respiratory distress but are stable. The facility employs about 4,500 people, mainly women.
