NASA was preparing for the Crew-9 mission, which aimed to send astronauts Zena Cardman, Nick Hague, Stephanie Wilson, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Gorbunov to the ISS on a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft. The FAA had reinstated Falcon 9 rocket flights. Despite issues with Boeing’s Starliner, NASA considered using Dragon for astronaut retrieval.
