In a Rajya Sabha session, Sikkim MP Dorjee Tshering Lepcha urged the central government to replace ‘China border’ with ‘Tibet border,’ arguing that the 1,400-kilometer stretch from Leh to Sikkim borders Tibet. Lepcha also highlighted the disparity in development between India and China in these regions and called for reopening the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra route via Nathula.
