Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said that no Hindus have attempted to enter India from Bangladesh in the past month despite instability in the neighboring country. However, 35 Muslim infiltrators, seeking employment in the textile sector in states like Bangalore and Tamil Nadu, have been arrested. He urged the Prime Minister to push Bangladesh to protect its Hindu minority.
