In Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, nine women aged 45 to 55 were found murdered over a span of 14 months, all strangled and left in fields, with no signs of sexual assault. The police have been investigating this as a possible serial killer case and have released sketches of three suspects based on leads from local farmers.
