Ryan Routh, aged 58, allegedly attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump at his Florida golf course by aiming a rifle through the tree line. He had earlier written a letter offering $150,000 for Trump’s assassination. Routh faces federal gun charges and additional charges may be pending as the investigation continues.
