An outstation patient undergoing treatment at Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) in Tirupati attacked a female intern doctor. The patient, diagnosed with a conversion disorder, became aggressive and assaulted the doctor before collapsing again. This incident has reignited protests among resident doctors who demand enhanced security measures at the hospital.
