Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia was released from Tihar jail after the Supreme Court granted him bail. He had been in custody for 17 months related to the Delhi liquor policy case. Sisodia, welcomed by supporters and fellow party members, thanked the Constitution for his release and expressed hopes for Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal’s release.
