Amid heavy police security and protests, Akshay Shinde’s body, accused in the Badlapur school sexual assault case, was buried in Ulhasnagar. Shinde was shot dead by police while being transported for questioning. His family requested a burial for potential future investigations. Several protesters were detained during the burial process.
