Union home minister Amit Shah said that the central government will not engage in talks with Pakistan until terrorism is eradicated. Addressing an election rally in Nowshera, he criticized opposition calls to reinstate Article 370 and reaffirmed the BJP’s commitment to reservation for hilly regions, tribals, Dalits, and OBC communities.
