Baghdad, Aug 10 (DPA) At least 30 people were killed and 75 others injured Monday when two truck bombs exploded in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, al-Arabiya news channel reported, while 16 more were killed in bombings here.

The Dubai-based channel said that dozens of houses were destroyed, and police were looking for missing people under the debris.

Earlier, an official at Nineveh’s provincial office was quoted by an Iraqi news agency as saying that the explosion killed 17 people and wounded 54.

In a separate attack Monday, 16 people were killed and 81 injured when two car bombs exploded targeting construction workers in south-west Baghdad.
