Mexico City, May 10 (Inditop.com/EFE) A seven-year-old boy was shot in the head while 14 other people were killed in drug-related violence in Mexico, officials said.

The boy was among nine people murdered Saturday in Ciudad Juarez, the Chihuahua Attorney General’s Office said Sunday.

Police also found the bullet-riddled bodies of five men inside a car in Tecpan de Galeana, a city in Guerrero state. Two of the bodies were lying on the seats while the other three had been stuffed into the trunk of the vehicle.

A classified report by the government in April 2010 said 22,743 people have died in drug-related violence since President Felipe Calderon took over in December 2006.

The death toll for 2010 stands at at 2,904, the report said.
