London, Feb 21 (Inditop.com) A tour tracing the life of Princess Diana, who died in 1997, has been launched here, taking tourists on a trip that includes the London flat where she lived before meeting Prince Charles, Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey.
The three-hour trip, costing 75, shows all the key places in 36-year-old Diana’s life, Daily Express reported Sunday.
Princess Diana’s London is offered by The Celebrity Planet.
The tour takes tourists to the London flat where she lived before meeting Prince Charles and the hospital where she gave birth to Princes William and Harry.
Royal landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, St James’s and Kensington Palaces are on the list and so are St Paul’s Cathedral – scene of Diana’s fairytale wedding in 1981, the Mayfair house where she spent her last night in Britain and Westminster Abbey, scene of her funeral in 1997, the report said.
“No one has ever focused on Diana specifically and it is a really strong theme for a tour of London. Her death had a profound effect on people and she still retains huge global appeal,” James Bonney, who is a co-founder of the company was quoted as saying.
He said: “We treat the subject very respectfully throughout. We are very knowledgeable about Diana’s life and her relationship with the London landmarks visited.”
