Islamabad, Jan 31 (IANS) Temporary aerial surveillance has been ordered over the already heavily-protected Pakistani capital in view of fresh terror threats, the police said Tuesday.
The aerial surveillance by helicopters, which began Tuesday, will contine till Feb 5, Dawn reported.
Islamabad witnessed one of its worst terror attacks Sep 20, 2008 when a suicide bomber rammed a truck containing 600 kg of explosives into the outer wall of the luxury Marriott hotel, killing 60 people.
