London, Dec 3 (IANS) Pop star Christina Aguilera has accepted her much speculated relationship with Matt Rutler saying she was happy and having fun for the first time ‘in a really long time’.
The singer had been linked to Rutler, a set assistant from the film ‘Burlesque’, soon after she filed for divorce from then husband Jordan Bratman in October.
‘Once I filed for divorce, we started dating. Matthew is a special person. He’s the kind of person you could spend hours with on the phone and all of a sudden it’s daylight,’ femalefirst.co.uk quoted Aguilera as saying.
‘I’m not trying to jump into anything. I just left a five-year marriage, I’m taking it slow and trying to be happy,’ she added.
