Los Angeles, Aug 31 (IANS) Actress Amanda Bynes, who is admitted to a mental health facility here, is likely to be released in 60 days.
Doctors treating the 27-year-old star have recommended prolonged treatment for Bynes, but it is believed that once she completes 60 days of stay at the facility, she will be sent to be taken care of by her mother Lynn, reports tmz.com.
“Doctors at the facility where Amanda has been held asked for a long-term hold, and they got it. Doctors then transferred control of the hold to Amanda’s mother, who is currently the temporary conservator,” said a source.
“It’s unlikely Amanda will be held for a year. In fact, the plan is to keep her in a facility for 60 days to stabilise her and then transfer Amanda to her mom’s home,” the source added.
The actress was taken to the Hillman Psychiatric Facility in Ventura County, California, July 22 after she was arrested for starting a small fire outside a stranger’s home here.
