San Francisco, June 30 (DPA) Apple CEO Steve Jobs has returned to the company he founded following a six month medical leave during which he had a liver transplant, the company said Monday.

“He’s currently at work a few days a week and working from home the remaining days,” Apple spokesman Steve Dowling said in a statement. “We are very glad to have him back.”

Jobs announced his medical leave in January, leaving Chief Operating Officer Tim Cook running the company.

The Methodist University Hospital Transplant Institute in Memphis, Tennessee,confirmed last week that it had performed a liver transplant on Jobs. Various reports said the operation was performed two months ago
