New Haven (US), Aug 28 (IANS) India’s Rohan Bopanna and Pakistan’s Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi shocked second seeds Mahesh Bhupathi of India and Max Mirnyi of Belarus 6-4, 6-4 to enter the doubles final of the Pilot Pen tennis tournament.

The victory Friday night has put the India-Pakistani pair, finalists in Nice and Casablanca earlier in the year, up against Wimbledon finalists Robert Lindstedt of Sweden and Horia Tecau of Romania for the title clash.

It was Bopanna-Qureshi’s third tour-level final this year. The two captured their first ATP World Tour doubles title in Johannesburg in February.
