London, May 25 (IANS) Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has been accessorised with a SCRAM bracelet (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor) in her ankle to monitor her body’s alcohol levels every 30 minutes.
Contactmusic.com reports that the actress left Beverly Hills courthouse Monday wearing the alcohol-detecting device after facing Judge Marsha Revel, who ordered her not to leave California and not to drink alcohol or take drugs for the foreseeable future.
The hearing came five days after Lohan missed a mandatory court hearing on progress report on her probation stemming from two arrests in 2007 as she was stranded in Cannes, France, without a passport.
However, if Lohan fails to wear the tamper-proof device at all times, she might face jail.
