Rio de Janeiro, March 18 (IANS) Brazil striker Luis Fabiano admitted to battling a personal problem after scoring in Sao Paulo’s 3-2 victory over Oeste in the Campeonato Paulista.

The former Sevilla forward chose not to celebrate after his 69th-minute strike at the Morumbi stadium Sunday that kept Sao Paulo top of the standings, reports Xinhua.
“I didn’t celebrate because I didn’t want to. It wasn’t the right moment,” the 32-year-old said after the match.
“Nobody knows what I have been going through. I had an off-field problem which thankfully I have been able to overcome,” he said.
Fabiano, who missed Sao Paulo’s 1-2 Copa Libertadores loss to Arsenal de Sarandi March 14 due to suspension, was the subject of jeers from a section of fans during the match.
“It was tough to miss such an important game,” Fabiano said of Thursday’s fixture that left Sao Paulo second in their group but just a point ahead of last-placed The Strongest.
