London, Nov 7 (IANS) ‘Avatar’ director James Cameron will not direct the upcoming movie ‘Cleopatra’, based on the life of the Egyptian queen.

‘I am not doing ‘Cleopatra’, that has been decided,’ femalefirst.co.uk quoted Cameron as saying.

The filmmaker recently confirmed that he had been in talks with Sony to bring the story of the Egyptian queen to the big screen and he wanted his favourite Angelina Jolie to do the leading role.

Rumours are rife that he will be too busy directing two more ‘Avatar’ films to do anything else.
