London, June 26 (IANS) Pop singer Kylie Minogue, who has been battling breast cancer for five years, has admitted that fighting the disease was like battling darkness.
‘It is like you’re facing darkness. If you want to go away from that, then you have to reach out and find positive things. I want to help people in similar circumstances,’ Minogue said, according to express.co.uk.
The 42-year-old revealed that she was worried about her parents, Ronald and Carol, as they were feeling helpless. ‘I felt so bad for my mum and dad because they felt so helpless. The pressure on them was incredible.’
