Raipur, Aug 29 (Inditop.com) Chhattisgarh Police said Saturday they had seized a truck carrying cannabis worth Rs.3 million in the state’s Bastar district.
“We seized a truck loaded with 91 sacks of ganja (Cannabis) in a village near the national highway,” Suresh Dhruv, in-charge of the Keshkal police station said.
The cannabis was estimated to be worth at least Rs.3 million.
The truck has a Chhattisgarh registration plate. The driver and helper, however, managed to escape, police said.
