Beijing, Jan 10 (IANS) A Chinese county official fell asleep during a conference, which prompted internet users to joke that the man was protesting the length of the meeting by falling asleep.
Photographs released on a micro blog showed Wang Yupu, chairman of the Zizhou county committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, sleeping during a meeting at Yulin, the China Daily reported Thursday.
Wang was elected chairman in early 2012.
The owner of the blog said Wang fell asleep 20 minutes after the meeting started and slept for the entire length.
