Los Angeles, Dec 29 (IANS) Rugby player Danny Cipriani has splurged on an expensive Cartier Love bracelet and gifted it to his former girlfriend and actress Kelly Brook for Christmas.
The duo parted ways in August following allegations that Ciprani cheated on Brook.
The 26-year-old sent the expensive gift to the 34-year-old in a bid to show her that he is serious about rekindling their relationship, reports contactmusic.com.
“He sent her the Cartier Love bracelet for Christmas because he wants her to realise what she means to him. Danny knows that he’s messed up but they’ve been getting close over the past few weeks,” a source told The Sun newspaper.
“He’s hoping that she’ll take him back for good in the New Year,” the source added.
A bracelet from Cartier’s Love collection ranges from 850 pounds to 39,200 pounds. Despite the grand gesture, Brook has hinted that she plans to stay single for a while.
She posted an image of “Fall in love with your life” on Instagram Friday with the caption: “The most important lesson I learned in 2013!”
