London, Jan 29 (IANS) A tiny piece of coal salvaged from the Titanic has sold at an auction for 50 pounds.
2012 is the centenary of the ship’s sinking.
A gold stud, believed to have been worn by a passenger, is being offered for 8,000 pounds on internet auction site eBay, the Daily Express reported.
Other items on sale include a postcard with an image of the liner woven in silk, which has a 350 pound bid.
