Los Angeles, July 16 (IANS) Colin Farrell has stepped into the shoes of Arnold Schwarzenegger in the reboot of “Total Recall” and the producer is confident that the actor will be able to do complete justice to the role.
In the 1990 film, Arnold played the role of Douglas Quaid, which will now be portrayed by Farrell.
“It was very important that Quaid is just an ordinary guy. Colin just brings a real genius to him as an actor. There’s likeability on screen that you just feel he’s a real guy who could be a real factory worker,” said producer Toby Jaffe in a statement.
The Sony Pictures film is set to release Aug 3 worldwide.
