Rio de Janeiro, Nov 17 (IANS) Corinthians coach Tite has refused to give up on the possibility of securing a berth in next season’s Copa Libertadores.

Only the top four teams from the Campeonato Brasileiro earn the right to play in South America’s elite club competition, reports Xinhua.
After a poor start to the league campaign, Corinthians have risen to within six points of fourth-placed Goias.
“Anything can happen in the last few weeks,” Tite said. “There are four matches remaining and I believe in the possibility of qualifying for the Copa Libertadores.”
Corinthians are at home to Vasco da Gama Sunday, followed by matches against Flamengo (away), Internacional (home) and Nautico (away).
Tite, who guided the Sao Paulo-based outfit to the 2012 Copa Libertadores-FIFA Club World Cup double, will reportedly be replaced by his predecessor Mano Menezes next season.
