Islamabad, May 2 (IANS) The website of Pakistani daily Dawn experienced heavy traffic Monday after Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was killed in Pakistan, forcing it to lean on a backup.

As it became difficult to access the website, Dawn said there was heavy traffic.

‘You are currently viewing the Dawn.com backup site. The live site is down due to maintenance and will be restored shortly,’ it said.

Bin Laden was killed in Abbotabad city, over 50 km from here.
