Dubai, Jan 1 (IANS/WAM) The Dubai Shopping Festival will present awards to journalists who cover the 32-day event that will begin Jan 3.
The Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment, organiser of the shopping festival, announced the DSF’s Journalism Award 2013.
Works will be evaluated according to style, quality of research and content, overall presentation, creativity and impact of the story.
Winners will get a trophy, a certificate of appreciation and $5,000 in cash, while runners-up will take home $3,000.
Journalists from English or Arabic newspapers and magazines can take part in these categories — best feature, DSF prolific writer, best editorial and design team, and best feature-online portal.
