Sydney, Feb 2 (IANS) A ferry with 350 people on board sank in Papua New Guinea’s northeast, a media report said.
The National Maritime Safety Authority said the ferry travelling between the coastal towns of Lae and Kimbe West sent a distress signal around 8.30 a.m. Thursday, reported Xinhua citing the AAP.
“The reports have come back on that, we’re getting reports,” a spokesperson said.
