Rome, May 1 (IANS) Benfica head coach Jorge Jesus said Wednesday that his side need to score an away goal against Juventus to secure a spot in the Europa League final.

The Portuguese team won 2-1 at home in the first leg of their semifinal, and Jesus was sure that his players will be able to score an away goal in the second leg Thursday, Xinhua reported.
“We are firmly aware that we have to score,” Jesus said. “We have the players who can help us achieve that.”
He suggested that Benfica will not sit back to protect their 2-1 win in the first leg.
“Considering their great characteristics and technical qualities, we can plan to play an offensive game,” he said.
“Juventus know how good Benfica’s attack is. Juventus’ tactics are tactics that we are not used to playing against, so we are obliged to come up with different ways to stop them,” he said.
Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini conceded that his side can not afford to concede any goal to Benfica.
“It will be absolutely crucial to not concede a goal, because I am convinced that with the attacking threat we have we will manage to score,” he said.
“We must also look to limit the number of errors we make compared to the first leg,” he added.
