Mosul/Baquba, June 1 (DPA) Four people were killed in attacks in Iraq and 25 militants were arrested Tuesday, police sources said.
A bomb targeting a police patrol in the area of Tahrir, in the northern city of Mosul, killed three policemen and injured one other.
Separately, a soldier was killed in clashes with militants in the area of al-Muthana, in eastern Mosul.
Police announced the arrest of 22 militants in a search operation in the area of al-Salam, in eastern Mosul.
Three people wanted for working with Al Qaeda turned themselves into police custody in the eastern city of Baquba, police sources said.
Over 65 individuals, among them militant leaders, have turned themselves into police custody over the past three months, sources added.
