London, Oct 31 (IANS) Actress Goldie Hawn has explored her creative side by designing a candle for charity.
The 66-year-old has teamed up with experts at Max Benjamin to create the item, named Calm candle, which features a blend of lavender oils with three wicks, reports dailystar.co.uk.
A portion of the proceeds from the sales will benefit the actress’s charity The Hawn Foundation, which works to teach social and emotional skills to children.
“I created this candle to give something beautiful to people. I chose the name ‘Calm’ because a calm environment means less stress and anxiety. Knowing that scents have powerful effects on the brain, I chose lavender for the sense of well-being it engenders,” she said.
