Hannover, June 30 (IANS) Midfielder Felix Klaus has joined German football club Hannover from relegated Freiburg, both sides confirmed on Tuesday.

The German Under-21 international penned a four-year deal keeping him with the ‘Reds’ until June 2019. He is Hannover’s fourth new arrival of the summer transfer window, reports Xinhua.
“It makes us very happy that Felix Klaus opted for our team despite many offers from other Bundesliga outfits. He will be an integral part of our young team as he brings the best requirements to strengthen our team,” Hannover sporting director Dirk Dufner said.
The new arrival will turn up on July 16 for his first training session as he was part of Germany’s squad during the U-21 European Championship in Czech Republic.
“After the long season and the subsequent U-21 European Championships he needs holidays to recover. We agreed that Felix Klaus joins us on July 16 for his first training session,” Hannover coach Michael Frontzeck said.
The 22-year-old new arrival provided seven assists and seven goals in 52 appearances following two years with the ‘Breisgauer’. Hannover encounter newly promoted Darmstadt in their first game of 2015-2016 on August 15.
