Beijing, Sep 29 (IANS) Human error caused the collision of two metro trains in Shanghai that left over 250 people injured, a media report said Thursday.
The accident took place Tuesday when a subway train rear-ended another train in Shanghai.
The Shanghai Shentong Metro Group said technical data and records have been submitted to a investigation task force.
‘Metro staff on Line 10 used a manual dispatch mode after the signalling system was affected by a loss of power,’ Shentong said on its website.
‘However, the staff on duty failed to strictly comply with management regulations, which caused the accident.’
