Islamabad, Oct 2 (IANS) A delegation of Indian lawyers met Pakistan’s Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry, who said the two countries can learn and benefit from each other’s laws, a media report said.
Justice Chaudhry Monday met the delegation of Indian lawyers led by Udesh Agarwal, reported Geo News.
The chief justice said that lawyers of both the countries play a vital role in creating a peaceful atmosphere.
He added that the bar associations of both the countries played an important role in creating awareness about basic rights and raising key national issues.
The laws of both countries were similar and we can make them beneficial for each other, said Justice Chaudhry.
