London, May 4 (IANS) A seven-month-old baby died in the US after being forgotten inside a pickup truck all day as temperatures soared to 90 degrees, it was reported here.
Houston Police are probing the death of the baby, whose name and gender has not been identified. The father allegedly dropped off two older children to elementary school and then went to a business conference along the Northwest Freeway and the North Loop West.
But he forgot the baby inside the car, Daily Mail reported Friday.
He returned to the family home on Mary Sue and Jo Ann in the Covington Woods neighbourhood at 3.45 p.m. His wife called him to find out how the children were doing, which is when he realised the baby was still inside the pickup.
He ran outside and found the baby dead in the truck. No charges have yet been filed.
